　　1．知识目标
　　高频词：host, aim, deeply, although, final, chat, exchange.
　　高频词组：educational exchange, keep in touch with, be deeply affected.
　　2．技能目标
　　1）理解国外交流学习的阅读材料，并训练学生掌握所读材料主旨大意的能力，把握文章事实细节的能力以及考察、判断的能力。
　　2）根据上下文猜测生词及词组的意思，如organization、host、be deeply affected by、 keep in touch with等。
　　3．情感目标
　　1）让学生了解如何克服在国外交流学习遇到的生活与学习上问题。
　　2）让学生在合作中懂得提出问题，解决问题，提高自主学习能力。

　　Ⅰ．Warming-up
　　1．Pre-class（运用电子书包“互动讨论”模块中“小组讨论”）
　　（1）Ask Ss to watch the video about Qiaocheng Middle School students’ first tour to Australia, and then write some reviews in the pad:

　　　　a. What do you think of the tour?
　　b. What attracts you most?
　　c. What would you like to gain if you have the chance to go there?
　　（2）Group members discuss and choose the best reviews.(推出优秀贴)

　　　　2．In-class
　　Ask Ss to show their reviews they have written in the pad to the whole class.
　　Ⅱ．While-reading
　　1．Ask Ss to get the main idea of the passage:

	Where did he/she go?	Who supported the trip?	How long did he/she stay for?

　　Ask Ss to think about the problems we may face when studying abroad and write them in the pad.

　　　　(1)What problems may you face abroad?
　　(2)How can you solve the problems?
　　2．In-class
　　(1) Ask Ss.to scan the problems they have written in the pad in groups. Get ready for the competition.

　　　　(2) Competition: Talk about the problems when studying abroad.
　　Rules for competition
　　a．Competition begins from group 1 to group 8.
　　b．Each group member can only talk about one problem at a time.
　　c．Every group member should try to get the chance to talk.
　　d．If nobody stands up in the group, then this group gives up the chance.
　　e．One point for each talking.
　　Ⅳ．Further –reading (运用电子书包“我的作业”模块)
　　If time permits, ask Ss. to do the reading comprehension: Culture shock in the pad. Or they can finish after class.

　　Ⅴ．Feedback（运用电子书包“我的作业”模块“投票”功能）
　　Finish the questionnaire in the pad to know the Ss’ weakness in reading.

2．让学生在合作中懂得提出问题，解决问题，提高自主学习能力。

重难点

难点：掌握如何在把握文章大意，如何在细节题中根据关键词获取直接信息以及通过间接信息进行推断。

在电子书包 “互动讨论” 模块进行以小组为单位的讨论。最后由组长选出“优秀贴”，为课堂展示环节做好准备。

　　一、成果展示，导入新课（视频1)

　　师生活动：课前，教师让观看桥城manbetx首页资讯学生2010年澳大利亚交流学习视频，设置问题让学生讨论，推荐优秀贴。课上，教师首先展示学生的优秀作品，指定小组代表阅读。
　　设计意图：视频资源和班论坛的使用，使学生能自由表达自己的观点，教师能及时掌握学生的预习情况，及时调整教学内容；优秀贴的展示，让学生体会到获得别人认可的自豪感，激发学习兴趣。
　　二、阅读训练，提高技能（视频2)

　　师生活动：学生阅读标题和第一段，快速了解文章的主要内容，获取文章的主旨大意，通过“在线作业”模块训练阅读细节题及推理判断题。平台的即时评阅和统计错误率的功能，能有效针对学生出错最多的题目进行重点讲解。在完成阅读训练后，总结阅读技巧，并通过拓展阅读训练检测。
　　设计意图：虚拟课堂与现实课堂相结合。教材文章课堂上过关，提高教学效率。运用电子书包中可以实现即时评阅以及统计错误率的功能，能有效针对学生出错最多的题目进行重点讲解，节约课堂时间，也能更好地了解学生的薄弱项，进行有针对性教学。
　　三、拓展运用，能力提升（视频3)

　　师生活动：针对教学主题“国外交流学习”进行拓展，结合论坛中的作品，让学生就“在国外学习可能遇到的困难以及解决的方法”进行小组讨论，输入自己的观点。让小组间进行口头竞赛，活跃课堂气氛，提高语言表达能力。
　　设计意图：课堂拓展不再局限于课堂口头展示，而让学生通过发帖的方式进行笔头展示，增加了学生用英语自我展示的机会，锻炼了学生的读写能力，以读促写。小组竞赛的形式，增加了学生的时间意识，激发了学生的学习热情，提高了学僧的学习效率。
　　四、作业布置，知识巩固（视频4)

　　师生活动：教师为学生布置课后作业，通过投票功能，收集学生的阅读困难点，指导学生结合平台的名师辅导资源进行学习，并在论坛中进行问题咨询和答疑。
　　设计意图：投票功能的及时统计和反馈，能让教师快速收集学生的学情，发布有针对性的学习任务。各种学习资源的辅助，让学生对知识点理解的更加透彻；论坛的及时反馈和共享功能，让学生的疑问能得到及时解答，减少问题的积累。
